With it being National Aid's Day I really feel the need to post. As most of you know the fight against AIDS is a charity that is very near and dear to my heart. Two months ago Team Apocalypse lost a beloved friend and brother to this disease.

Keep riding.
Keep crewing.
Keep donating.

Just do *something*

I'm glad you shared this loss with us.

I spent most of my free time yesterday writing and rewriting a pair of posts for my own journal (which became very, very personal and I've marked as friends only, say the word and I'll add you as a friend though) and a second for my blog Adventures in Urban Living that I was not able to finish because the story I wanted to tell was just too emotional and always left me in tears, I still have the drafts and intend to finish it when I can.

I sent a link called Light to Unite around work that I only discovered later yesterday afternoon. Bristal-Myers-Squib put up the site and for every online candle lit they were donating $1 to AIDS research. I hope giving a way to make a very easy contribution helps engage more people in the cause.
